Therefore, providing services and validating services cannot be regarded as the same mining eligibility.

What is the relationship between Roam Points and ROAM?

Roam Points are the points system within the Roam App; official information provides an in-app path to convert Points into ROAM. Therefore, they are not the same type of asset: Points are app points, while ROAM is a network utility token. Earning Points does not mean that ROAM has already been received in a wallet. The two change correspondingly only after the applicable conversion process is completed; whether conversion is available and its conditions depend on the rules displayed in the app.

The official whitepaper lists staking as one of ROAM's network uses. Staking is part of the network participation mechanism and works alongside the incentive design for service and validation roles. ROAM may be used for staking, but this does not mean every holder will receive a fixed return.

Network participation and token uses may affect ROAM's demand for use or tradable supply, but they do not constitute a price commitment. If participants use or lock tokens under the rules, this may change market expectations or available supply; if service usage does not grow, holders sell, or rules change, the effect may also be the opposite. Therefore, Wi‑Fi nodes, app activity, or Points activity cannot be directly equated with inevitable appreciation of ROAM. Incentive or staking arrangements within the network should also be understood separately from price formation in the secondary market.
