Why Did Quant (QNT) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

On September 24, The Clearing House selected Quant to support its On-Chain Money Initiative, using Quant’s interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management technology for clearing and settling tokenized deposits between banks. The project is expected to be available in the first half of 2027. This institutional-use narrative may sustain attention on QNT, but it does not establish that adoption has occurred. Reported trading value had risen substantially: the 30-day average was about $273.8 million, reached roughly $1.49 billion on September 28, then fell to about $83 million, indicating activity had receded from its peak. Technical signals were broadly bearish or neutral, with limited short-term momentum; the 2026-10-20 12:00Z candle had a narrow range. At that time, total quantity across the top five order-book levels was about 1.5 QNT, indicating a shallow book. The largest bid was about 52% of bid quantity, but a single snapshot cannot establish trader intent.
