Why Did Peanut (NUX) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

There is no specific information establishing a causal link between NUX’s movement and project announcements, broader market moves, trading volume, or order-book depth, so none of these can be presented as a confirmed driver. Volume and order-book depth can affect the persistence of price moves and the impact of large trades, but without those data it is not possible to determine which mechanism was at work. Even a single large order would show only a concentration of orders at that time; it would not establish institutional price support, accumulation, or distribution. Candlesticks and technical indicators also do not support conclusions about breakouts, overbought or oversold conditions, or momentum reversals, and social discussion cannot be treated as confirmed evidence of market sentiment.

About Peanut (NUX)

Peanut. Trade is a DFI price balancer, which protects LP from impermanent losses, reduces slip points and increases the profits of liquidity providers by restraining the price changes of large DEX transactions and corresponding assets on CEX. It has been integrated into the curve platform to reduce the risk of slip points and impermanence losses. It divides the assets of liquidity providers into two parts: 90% for providing liquidity on uniswap (or through other DEX) and 10% for automatic multi-level price balancing between uniswap, other DEX and CEX. Nux is an erc20 token that supports the peanut protocol. Nux utility function in order to balance the token rate on CEX and DEX platforms, it is not enough to have only one effective algorithm. This is just a tool. Without a large number of encrypted assets, it will not work properly. Peanut will provide a portion of such assets from its reserves. However, most of such assets will be provided by third parties, which will obtain passive income by lending their own resources. From individuals to investment funds, anyone can become such a liquidity provider (LP). In order to increase the liquidity of the peanut pool, users will need to deposit Nux tokens. Otherwise, peanout's algorithm will not be able to balance according to the mobility of users. Nux tokens enable our algorithms to be used with your assets. Liquidity providers (or ordinary users) should have enough Nux so that the peanut balance mechanism can start operating their liquidity. After making a profit, a 10% fee will be charged from the Nux token.

Use Cases and Features

Peanut is a smart-contract solution for decentralized trading liquidity that aims to reduce slippage through automatic price balancing after trades. NUX is its Ethereum ERC-20 utility token; in the announced model, liquidity providers needed to configure NUX before the balancing mechanism could use the assets they supplied. The model also specified a 10% fee taken from NUX when profits were generated.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

The model announced in 2021 set the NUX cap at 50 million tokens: 40 million were minted at genesis and allocated to airdrops, presales and public sales, community and partnerships, development, and the team; another 10 million were planned as liquidity-mining rewards. These allocations had varying lockup and release arrangements.
