P00LS is a platform for creators and brands to build tokenized communities: creators can issue tokens for their own communities and use those tokens to organize rewards, content, or community interactions. P00LS is the platform name and should not automatically be treated as the same asset as any creator token. The official whitepaper describes $00 as the ERC-20 governance token of the zerozero ecosystem, and states that P00LS was the initial developer of the $00 code and code related to the zerozero DEX. Existing official materials do not confirm a contract-address, migration, or conversion relationship between the P00LS token referred to in the question and $00; therefore, the two cannot be considered the same token based on name alone.

The whitepaper positions $00 as the ERC-20 governance, access, reward, and liquidity token of the zerozero ecosystem. It is used for governance of the zerozero DAO and is designed as the base token of the zerozero DEX: every trading pair listed on the DEX includes $00 as a component. This differs from creator tokens. Creator tokens are for a particular creator's or brand's community and are used for that community's content, events, or benefits; $00 instead serves the higher-level zerozero DAO, ecosystem fund, and DEX mechanisms.

The zerozero DAO consists of $00 holders. Under the mechanism described in the whitepaper, holders can submit proposals and vote on submitted proposals; voting rights move governance from a single operator to a framework in which token holders participate collectively. The DAO's authority includes the ecosystem fund and the zerozero DEX. Holding tokens does not mean holding equity in the P00LS company or in a creator; it means participating in voting and decision-making in the protocol governance described in the whitepaper.

The ecosystem fund is managed by the zerozero DAO and consists of a $00 treasury equal to 15% of total supply, a portion of all creator tokens within the zerozero ecosystem, and a portion of zerozero DEX fees. These three sources mean that the fund holds not only $00, but is also connected to creator tokens and trading activity in the ecosystem. Under the whitepaper's design, $00 holders decide how the fund is allocated through token-weighted voting, for example to support projects that may benefit the ecosystem or to incentivize creators to join. The fund's existence does not mean fees or proceeds are automatically distributed to all holders.

The whitepaper defines creator tokens as the primary tool for entering a creator's or brand's “world.” Specific benefits may include access to content, events, merchandise discounts, newsletters, or private communities, but are set separately by each creator or brand. The P00LS platform previously provided issuance and operating tools for these tokenized communities. $00 does not replace these creator tokens: the former is the governance and base trading token at the zerozero ecosystem layer, while the latter are used for specific relationships and benefits in different creator communities. Therefore, holding a creator token does not by itself mean having $00 governance rights, and vice versa.

The whitepaper states that the total supply of $00 is permanently fixed at 1,000,000,000 tokens. It is allocated as follows: P00LS platform users 20%, creators 20%, investors 25%, team 20%, and ecosystem fund 15%. This is the token design and allocation framework described in the whitepaper; it does not directly represent circulating supply at any point in time. There are locking and release stages between allocation and circulation. The whitepaper states that creator and team allocations are subject to lockup and vesting restrictions, while the investor allocation is locked for one year after token issuance and then becomes freely tradable gradually over the following three years; therefore, the five allocation categories cannot simply be added together and treated as immediately tradable supply.

A P00LS official notice states that its social-token platform has ceased operations. Ceasing operations describes the status of platform services; it does not mean on-chain assets automatically disappear or are taken back by the platform. The notice also states that holders' on-chain tokens and NFTs remain under their control and transferable. Transferability only means that holders controlling the private keys can dispose of the assets on-chain; it does not guarantee that the original platform's frontend, rewards, community functions, or liquidity remain available.

Before the platform ceased operations, P00LS's core idea was to let creators identify and reward community members through tokens; triggers described on its website could include holding NFTs, purchasing specific digital benefits, or interacting on relevant platforms. Tokens served here as a tool connecting cross-platform behavior and community benefits. The shutdown changes the availability of the tools and access points originally provided by the platform; it does not impose a uniform burn or redemption outcome on all on-chain tokens. Whether individual tokens still have other applications, markets, or community functions depends on their respective contracts and independent operating arrangements.

The zerozero DEX described in the whitepaper is a decentralized exchange managed and deployed by the zerozero DAO for exchanging tokens in the zerozero ecosystem. Its base trading-pair structure includes $00, so $00's role is not only voting: it is also designed as a shared pricing or connecting asset in the trading system. A “base token” does not mean every token is guaranteed to have a tradable market. Whether trading is actually possible, as well as execution price and slippage, still depends on whether a specific trading pair is deployed, whether liquidity exists, and whether users participate; the platform shutdown notice alone also cannot prove the DEX's current operating status.

For assets related to P00LS, three things must first be distinguished: the platform name, the specific contract of a creator token, and the governance-token contract for $00. They may appear in the same ecosystem narrative, but correspond to different rights, uses, and on-chain addresses. In particular, similar token tickers or page names must not alone be used to assume that assets can be converted one-to-one, carry $00 governance rights, or represent a creator community. Checking the contract address, chain, and official migration or conversion rules is necessary to confirm an asset's specific identity.

In the design of $00, the ecosystem fund both holds a $00 treasury and receives a portion of creator tokens and DEX fees. As a result, expansion of the creator ecosystem and DEX trading activity can, by design, affect the composition of resources managed by the DAO, but do not automatically become a fixed cash flow for $00 holders. Whether this connection translates into token-use demand still depends on whether the DAO, DEX, and creator communities actually operate, whether users use their services, and whether liquidity exists. Treating platform or creator count directly as $00 buying demand or price appreciation ignores these intermediate conditions.

An important P00LS event was the official announcement that the social-token platform ceased operations. This change shifts the focus from “how to obtain and use creator-community functions through the platform” to “which on-chain assets holders still control and which original services should no longer be assumed available.” The notice confirms that tokens and NFTs remain transferable, but does not continue the original platform's service commitments as inherent features of on-chain assets. Asset control, transferability, application frontends, and community benefits should therefore be assessed separately.
