Why Did Oasys (OAS) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

The order-book snapshot from 2026-10-20 to 2026-10-21 showed a buy-to-sell depth ratio of 1.15 across the first five levels, indicating that the two sides were broadly balanced. However, the largest individual buy order was 726,281 units, exceeding the combined 351,727 units across the first five buy levels. The largest sell order was 676,890 units, also exceeding the 306,573-unit total across the first five sell levels. This points to shallow visible depth, where a single large order could pass through multiple price levels. Quotes were about 0.0003144 and 0.000325, a spread of roughly 3.4%, consistent with weak liquidity. In a shallow order book, a limited number of orders can have a relatively large price impact, so order-book shocks may amplify volatility and reduce the efficiency of price discovery. The depth ratio itself, however, did not show a clear advantage for either buyers or sellers, and these order-book figures alone do not establish a specific cause for the price direction.

About Oasys (OAS)

Oasys is a public blockchain specialized in gaming. It was launched with the support of renowned gaming companies to completely change the "blockchain of games". Oasys is an EVM compatible protocol that adopts the Oasys architecture. This unique architecture consists of multiple layers: Hub Layer, a highly scalable first layer; And Verse Layer, a special second layer that uses Ethereum's second layer extension solution. The original token of Oasys is OAS token, which is the highest level token in the entire Oasys ecosystem and is issued on the Oasys public chain to maximize the Oasys token.

Use Cases and Features

OAS is the native token of Oasys, a public blockchain for gaming. Oasys uses a multilayer architecture consisting of the Hub-Layer (responsible for network-wide data availability, security, and stability) and the Verse-Layer (which hosts game content), and it is EVM-compatible. OAS can be used to pay Gas fees when the Verse layer settles transaction batches with the Hub layer, participate in governance, stake, and purchase NFTs and other products.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

According to the OAS lightpaper, the initial supply at launch was 10 billion tokens. The design proposes that, six years after mainnet launch, OAS holders will decide through decentralized governance on any additional supply for staking rewards.
