Why Did LYX (LYX) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

A trading platform announced that it would stop trading LYX pairs at 08:00 UTC on 2026-11-03. The prospect of fewer trading venues may have prompted early exits, but the announcement time and the platform’s share of trading are unknown, so the scale of any impact is uncertain. Although buy volume exceeded sell volume across the top five order-book levels, the estimated value available for absorption at the time was still limited; a shallow book can magnify selling pressure. Volume data was unavailable, so it is not possible to determine whether selling increased. Technical signals were neutral overall: hourly moving averages were bearish, while an oversold four-hour RSI did not establish a reversal.

About LYX (LYX)

"LUKSO is a next generation EVM blockchain based on Casper PoS that will revolutionize the way brands, creators and users interact with blockchain technology in the New Creative Economies. While the network is leveraging ETH 2.0’s technology stack, LUKSO is a separate and new layer-1 blockchain, introducing a set of innovative blockchain standards. The initial LUKSO Standards Proposals (LSPs) represent the core building blocks of the LUKSO ecosystem. LSPs increase functionality and user-friendliness with blockchain technology and revolutionize identity, ownership, asset representation and smart contract interactions. The core LSPs are extremely extensible, allowing for many new use cases, while simplifying the developer and user experience. These standards are unbiased - meaning they are generic and flexible enough to enable new use cases that have not yet been explored. Another core element of the LUKSO Network is Universal Profiles. Universal Profiles are interoperable blockchain based profiles which enable verifiable identities in the digital world. They allow for universal logins that make remembering usernames and passwords a thing of the past, while also giving you full control of all your virtual assets and identity. Universal Profiles simplify the onboarding process to Web3 for users, brands and creators, while also improving accessibility, security and functionality. "

Use Cases and Features

LYX is the native coin of the LUKSO mainnet. It is used to pay on-chain transaction fees and is staked by validators to help maintain the security of the proof-of-stake network. LUKSO is a Layer 1 for social, cultural, and creator applications; users can use LYX on its mainnet to transfer and hold assets and interact with applications and smart contracts.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

LUKSO mainnet's genesis initial supply was 42 million LYX, selected by genesis validators through a vote among 35 million, 42 million, and 100 million options. Validators stake LYX to propose and validate blocks and may receive network rewards; rewards vary with network conditions and are not guaranteed returns.
