Why Did FIO Protocol (FIO) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

Technical signals were broadly bearish: moving averages leaned downward on the 1-hour, 4-hour and daily intervals, with ADX readings of 12.25, 26.39 and 37.83, indicating trend strength ranging from weak to stronger. The 15-minute RSI was oversold, but that does not confirm a reversal. In the order-book snapshot dated 2026-10-22, the bid-to-ask volume ratio across the top five price levels was 2.13, indicating bid-side dominance. However, estimated depth at the prices observed was only about $204 on the bid side and $96 on the ask side. A shallow order book can amplify the price impact of limited trading. The largest bid was outside the top-five-level statistics, so it cannot be treated as a nearby bid wall; a single snapshot also does not establish trader intent. The snapshot alone does not establish whether the decline was accompanied by rising volume.

About FIO Protocol (FIO)

The FIO protocol is committed to becoming the HTTP of the Internet, making the blockchain more simple and convenient. FIO is a delegated proof of interest (dpos) blockchain used as a practical agreement, which acts as a unified standard for wallets, exchanges, encrypted payment processors and various applications (cryptocurrency applications that process workflow, data and transaction confirmation on other blockchains). Specifically, FIO protocol provides: FIO address: a cross chain, "human readable" wallet address. Users do not need to view or use complex blockchain public addresses. FIO requests: decentralized payment requests, including invoices, shopping carts or messages reminding roommates to share rent, are applicable to all blockchains. FIO data: similar metadata across the chain, such as invoices, shopping carts or messages, is applicable to any pass / token. The FIO protocol will also support such functions as periodic payment, Bill allocation, obtaining multi sign request paths, and may even meet the compliance requirements of the "travel rule".

Use Cases and Features

FIO is the native utility token of FIO Chain, used to pay on-chain fees, including for registering FIO Handles and FIO Domains. A FIO Handle is a readable decentralized on-chain identifier that can replace public wallet addresses across multiple blockchains; FIO is also used for proof-of-stake consensus and elections for block producers and the foundation board. Holders can participate in governance by staking and voting or delegating.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

FIO has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. At mainnet launch, tokens were allocated to multiple groups, including the foundation, early participants, and integrated wallets, with no public sale or ICO. Some reserves can be minted for designated purposes; when daily fee distribution is below 25,000 FIO, the staking-reward reserve can mint tokens to replenish that reward pool.
