Why Did Euler (EUL) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

EUL’s technical signals are broadly bearish, but they differ across timeframes: moving averages are bearish on the 15-minute and 4-hour charts and bullish on the 1-hour chart, indicating that a rebound structure has not entirely disappeared. ADX measures trend strength and does not determine direction on its own. The candle at 14:00 UTC on 2026-11-01 closed at $1.1312, down 0.21% from its open; the subsequent snapshot price was below that close, indicating further weakness. Buy volume across the top five order-book levels exceeded sell volume and could offer brief support, but the orders’ notional value was only in the hundreds of dollars. This indicates limited local depth, where a shallow book can amplify price moves. The largest sell order’s level is unclear, so it cannot be treated as a sell wall in the top five levels. Volume lacks a unit and historical baseline, so it cannot establish whether trading expanded or whether selling was broad.

About Euler (EUL)

Euler is an unmanaged, unauthorized lending agreement on Ethereum that helps users earn interest on their cryptocurrency assets and hedge against volatile markets without the need to trust third parties. EUL is an ERC20 token that serves as the local governance token for the Euler protocol.

Use Cases and Features

EUL is the native governance token of Euler, a modular onchain lending protocol. Holders can vote on protocol changes and DAO treasury management, and EUL may also be distributed as a reward for participating in protocol activities. When the Fee Flow mechanism is enabled, buyers can pay EUL to purchase fee assets held by the mechanism; it is currently disabled and Euler protocol fees are 0%. The value of EUL does not represent ownership of Euler company or protocol assets.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

The total supply of EUL is 27,182,818 tokens. The EUL contract on Ethereum allows ADMIN_ROLE holders to mint tokens equal to up to 2.718% of the total supply every 365 days and send them to the treasury address designated by the contract. Historically, tokens were allocated to the DAO, protocol users, ecosystem development programs, strategic partners, and contributors associated with Euler Labs; specific holdings and reward distributions change over time.
