Why Did DFIMoney (YFII) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

YFII’s historical order book showed concentrated buying: the top-five-level bid-to-ask depth ratio was 3.42, with a large bid at $22. However, the price in that snapshot was already above that level, limiting its practical support. The candlestick volume at 13:00 UTC on 2026-10-20 was only 0.674, indicating low liquidity, where even a small amount of trading can cause noticeable price moves. An oversold daily RSI offers one possible explanation for a technical rebound. However, ADX was below 25 across all timeframes, trend signals were weak, and the daily moving averages remained bearish, so these readings do not confirm a trend reversal. An order-book snapshot alone also cannot establish the intent behind the orders.

About DFIMoney (YFII)

Year is an aggregate wealth management platform that supports a variety of defi protocols. It will automatically move positions between protocols to help depositors obtain the highest wealth management income. The platform aggregates compound, dydx, AAVE and DdeX agreements. When users deposit, the platform will automatically allocate funds to the agreements with the highest income at present. Then, year will give the user a proof of interest called ytoken, and the user can take out the token and corresponding income that he originally deposited through ytoken. Yfi will stop mining on July 26. In order to ensure that liquidity is not large enough to withdraw from mining, community governance yip-8 has proposed to halve the weekly additional issuance of each mine pool. Although the proposal received more than 80% support, it was invalid because the total vote rate did not meet the minimum requirement of 33%. In order to ensure that Andre's genius idea and system are not controlled by the early whale account, the yfi project is forked, code named yfii. Yfii adopts a 50% additional issuance mechanism similar to bitcoin to ensure that tokens are more fairly distributed to community members. There are 60000 yfii in total, 20000 for each of the three pools, 10000 for each pool in the initial state, and the output will be halved every 7 days. According to the share of liquidity provided by defi users for each pool, yfii will be distributed in the next 10 weeks.

Use Cases and Features

DFI.Money uses YFII as an incentive token in its liquidity-mining arrangement. Users who provide liquidity to designated pools can receive YFII according to their relative share of liquidity in the pool; the amount received therefore changes with an individual's position and the liquidity provided by other participants in the pool.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

The historical token design linked YFII issuance to liquidity provision: each of three liquidity pools was planned to receive 20,000 tokens, with participants receiving tokens in proportion to the liquidity they provided. The arrangement began in 2020, issuing 10,000 tokens per pool in the first week and halving each week thereafter, with completion planned within 10 weeks.
