HOME has a total supply of 10 billion tokens, and its token generation event (TGE) was June 10, 2025. Allocations are: community and ecosystem 47%, core contributors 20%, early supporters 10%, foundation 10%, protocol development 8%, and liquidity and launch 5%. Total supply does not equal the circulating amount at a given time because categories have different unlock arrangements. For example, core contributors and early supporters each have 0% unlocked at TGE, 25% unlocked after a 12-month lockup, and unlock over a further 36 months; the liquidity and launch category is 100% unlocked at TGE.

How does HOME gas abstraction work?

On supported chains, if a user's wallet contains only HOME and no ETH, SOL, or other native gas asset, Defi App can execute transactions through ERC-4337 smart-account infrastructure. Its treasury purchases HOME from users at publicly available market prices and uses that HOME to subsidize gas for the relevant transaction. This mechanism abstracts the operational complexity of users holding different native gas tokens; it does not eliminate network costs. The platform uses the purchased HOME to subsidize gas for that transaction. Availability depends on the supported chain and the corresponding in-app function.

What are the staking terms and XP multipliers for HOME?

Staking HOME locks it for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months and provides XP multipliers of 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, or 3x, respectively. The longer the term, the higher the multiplier; this multiplier applies to XP generated by swaps and perpetual trading on Defi App. The multiplier is not unconditional: the official description states that users must have available charges; if charges are exhausted, no bonus XP is earned, and users can obtain additional charges by staking HOME.

Can HOME be transferred, sold, or unstaked early after staking?

No. Before the selected staking term ends, staked HOME cannot be unstaked, transferred, or sold. After selecting a staking amount and term, users should verify the unlock date before confirming the transaction, because the liquidity restriction continues until the term is complete.

The Defi App DAO can govern protocol changes, treasury actions, and integrations. Proposals first undergo 24 hours of warm-up discussion, followed by a 5-day voting period; proposals that meet the threshold are executed by the DAO. Constitutional DIPs require 1 million HOME in voting power, while non-constitutional DIPs (such as upgrades or budgets) require 500,000 HOME in voting power. The DAO Council is responsible for submitting formal proposals to Snapshot, and the relevant working groups execute approved proposals. Therefore, raising community input, forming a formal proposal, passing a vote, and actual execution are distinct stages.

How is HOME governance voting power calculated?

The voting-power formula for an account is: (staked HOME × 4) + liquid HOME. In other words, the same amount of staked HOME has four times the voting power of liquid HOME under this formula. Liquid HOME balances are calculated by aggregating holdings on Base and BNB Smart Chain. This formula measures governance influence; it is not a return-calculation formula and does not change the number of HOME tokens.

The official tokenomics page states that the protocol uses 80% of net fee revenue after operating costs to buy HOME and hold it in DAO treasury reserves. Repurchased HOME is held by DAO reserves; it is not automatically burned and is not equivalent to directly distributing returns to all HOME holders.
