Why Did Decentralized USD (USDD) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

USDD is part of TRON’s stablecoin ecosystem. In the third quarter of 2026, the combined supply of USDT and USDD in that ecosystem was $93.88 billion, with average daily settlement of $24.05 billion, up 5.1% quarter over quarter. These aggregate figures reflect network use and provide ecosystem context, but are not USDD-specific figures and do not directly explain short-term price movements. Technical indicators were broadly neutral: shorter timeframes showed some trend strength but no clear direction, while daily trend strength was very weak, with no clear directional signal.

About Decentralized USD (USDD)

USDD is a cryptocurrency issued by Wave Field DAO Reserve, with stable prices and diverse use cases. It will have an internal incentive mechanism and corresponding monetary policy, which will enable the US dollar to self stabilize in any price fluctuations and help consolidate its value as a true settlement currency.

Use Cases and Features

USDD is a decentralized stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar, based on overcollateralization with crypto assets and intended to maintain a 1:1 peg with the dollar. It can be used for trading, lending, and liquidity in decentralized finance; official documentation also describes community governance, on-chain auditability, and multichain use across networks including TRON, Ethereum, and BNB Chain.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

The supply of USDD can change with protocol operations. The official architecture explains that users can deposit eligible collateral assets into vaults to mint USDD; after repaying the minted USDD and stability fee, they can settle the debt and withdraw their collateral. In PSM scenarios, USDD is minted when users exchange designated stablecoins for it and burned in the reverse exchange.
