The publicly available token constructor uses 18 decimal places and mints 100,000 CRX to the deployer at deployment. This describes the initial mint, not an amount necessarily in market circulation or a later allocation schedule.

The public liquidity-token implementation uses the labels “Uniswap V2” and “UNI-V2” to identify LP shares in a trading pair. Those shares are a different asset from CRX; the labels do not establish that they are UNI tokens or that a token migration occurred.

Why are some LP shares locked when liquidity is first provided?

The public pair implementation permanently mints the first 1,000 LP minimum units to the zero address as minimum liquidity. The first provider receives the square root of the product of the two deposited token amounts in minimum units, less those 1,000 units, and the result must be positive. The locked units are LP shares, not 1,000 CRX or all liquidity.

How are LP shares calculated when adding to an existing pool?

The public pair implementation calculates each added asset relative to its reserve, multiplies each ratio by total LP supply, and mints the smaller result. The deposit ratio therefore affects the LP shares received; excess of only one asset does not proportionally increase shares for that excess.

Does removing liquidity return the original amounts of both assets?

It is not guaranteed. The public implementation burns LP shares transferred to the pair and returns each underlying asset according to the share of total LP supply and the pair’s balances at that time. Changes in the pool’s asset mix can make the amounts and value received differ from the original deposit.

How is the 0.3% parameter applied in the public CRODEX swap implementation?

The implementation adjusts the input amount by 3/1000 and then checks the reserve-product constraint using adjusted balances. That corresponds to a 0.3% swap-fee parameter in the code. It is distinct from network gas and price impact, so it is not the transaction’s entire cost.

Are protocol fees automatically distributed to all CRX holders?

Accepted Answer

No. Under this mechanism, LP shares may be minted to a designated fee recipient only when the recipient is nonzero, a prior k value exists, the square root of the reserve product has grown, and the calculated amount is positive. This conditional LP mint is not a dividend promise to CRX holders and does not show that the fee switch is currently enabled. Minted LP shares = total LP supply × (√k − √k_previous) ÷ (5 × √k + √k_previous), where k is the product of the two asset reserves.

What do swap amount limits and deadlines each control?

Accepted Answer

For an exact-input swap, the public router requires final output to meet the minimum received amount; for an exact-output swap, input must not exceed the maximum paid amount. A failed bound reverts the transaction. A deadline requires the executing block time not to be later than the stated time; expiry also reverts. It does not lock a quote or replace amount limits.

Can the same token pair be created again by reversing the order?

Accepted Answer

No. The public factory sorts the two token addresses and registers the same pair in both directions; creating an existing pair again fails. The addresses must also be distinct and nonzero. Creating a pair only creates the contract; both assets still need to be deposited to create usable liquidity.

Does holding CRX qualify someone for every CRODEX staking pool?

Accepted Answer

CRX ownership alone cannot establish eligibility. The public staking template separately sets the accepted staking token and the reward token, which need not be the same. Only the asset accepted by a specific pool applies to that pool; the template itself does not establish that any pool is operating or accepts CRX.

Is the 28-day value in the staking template a mandatory lock-up?

Accepted Answer

No. In the public template, 28 days defines a reward-distribution period, not a period each user must wait before exiting. Reward accounting is capped at the period finish; when rewards are updated, remaining distribution is folded into the new reward rate and the reward balance is checked for coverage. This mechanism does not promise a fixed annualized return.

Are rewards paid at the same time as staked assets are withdrawn?

Accepted Answer

In the public template, a normal withdrawal returns a specified positive amount of the staking asset and updates reward accounting; claiming accrued rewards is a separate action and pays the configured reward asset. The full exit function first withdraws the entire staked balance and then claims rewards. A zero staked balance fails the withdrawal’s positive-amount check.
