Why Did CHEQD NETWORK (CHEQ) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

CHEQD’s order book is shallow, so even modest trades may amplify price moves. The decline amid limited trading may therefore reflect technical selling pressure, but does not establish a fundamental catalyst. In the 2026-11-06 order-book snapshot, the bid-to-ask depth ratio across the top five levels was about 1.01, indicating a broadly balanced book. The largest sell order, about 511,311 tokens near $0.001304, could weigh on rebounds; its effect depends on whether the order remains in place or is filled. Technical signals are mixed: moving averages were bearish on the 1-hour and daily timeframes but bullish on the 4-hour timeframe. RSI was neutral across all timeframes, with no MACD crossover signals, leaving the directional picture divided.

About CHEQD NETWORK (CHEQ)

Cheqd is building a "real data economy", and we are adding authenticity, source and authenticity to the data. In fact, this means using the cosmos SDK to build our own dedicated layer 1 networks and tokens, which can be used to promote the business model of payment and customizable autonomous identity paradigm using pluggable token omics. This will allow the entire ecosystem (such as IATA travelpass Airlines Group) to move to the network and start monetizing the data they are trading. We are supported by everym, the world's leading independent and sovereign identity supplier, and outlier ventures.

Use Cases and Features

CHEQ is the native token of cheqd Network. It can be used to participate in network governance, write decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and their associated resources on-chain, and support payments related to digital credentials. Holders can delegate tokens to node operators to participate in the proof-of-stake network; delegated tokens enter the active staking pool, participants may receive rewards based on their stake, and node operators may charge a commission.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

CHEQ had an initial supply of 1 billion tokens at the token generation event. The network has an inflation incentive mechanism, with documented minimum and maximum annual inflation parameters of 1% and 4%, respectively; these parameters can be adjusted through governance. Some initial allocations use native vesting accounts: tokens appear in the account first but cannot be transferred before vesting unlocks.
