Why Did Alex Lab (ALEX) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

In the historical order-book snapshot for 2026-11-03, the top-five-level bid-to-ask depth ratio was 0.60, with total ask volume exceeding bids. One sell order made up 61% of the top-five ask volume, indicating concentrated selling pressure. This structure could amplify price impact in low liquidity, but does not by itself confirm a sustained downtrend. Technical signals were mixed: the 1-hour MACD showed a death cross and the 15-minute RSI was oversold; trend strength was higher on the 4-hour chart and very weak on the daily chart, leaving the overall direction unconfirmed.

About Alex Lab (ALEX)

Alex Lab was established in early 2021, with a testing network launched in October 2021 and a main network launched in January 2022. Alex Lab targets the Bitcoin economy, and when DeFi can be achieved on Bitcoin, we believe that the size of the Bitcoin DeFi (or BitFi) economy can be twice that of the Ethereum DeFi economy. Bitcoin requires a smart contract layer to allow the construction of these DeFi protocols protected by Bitcoin. Stacks blockchain is such a smart contract layer. We are the largest DeFi on Stacks, with over half of the TVL and the maximum transaction volume. We collaborate with the Stacks Foundation and continue to integrate with Bitcoin, committed to providing users with a better experience while ensuring Bitcoin security.

Use Cases and Features

ALEX is the participation and governance token of a DeFi protocol for the Bitcoin ecosystem built on Stacks smart contracts. It can incentivize users who provide liquidity on decentralized exchanges and participate in staking; holders can vote on platform development, liquidity-provider fee rebates, staking policies, and reserve allocations. Users may stake ALEX manually or use the liquid-staking form LiALEX; rewards include trading fees and newly minted tokens.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

ALEX has an initial supply of 1 billion tokens: 20% is allocated to the foundation and community reserve pool, 50% to community staking rewards, and 30% to employees, advisors, early investors, and the founding team. Protocol governance may vote on token supply policy, including buybacks or additional issuance.
