Why Did Akash Network (AKT) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

In the order-book snapshot at 20:00 UTC on 2026-10-21, the top-five-level bid-to-ask depth ratio was 4.21, but a bid wall at 0.733 accounted for about 93.2% of top-five-level bids. If that order is canceled or filled, the support could weaken quickly. A larger sell order near 0.7366 could also limit near-term upside. This structure reflects the distribution of orders, not necessarily actual buying demand, and cannot by itself explain current movement. Technically, moving averages were bullish on the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, bearish on the 15-minute chart, and neutral on the daily chart. RSI was neutral across timeframes and MACD gave no signal, leaving the trend without strong confirmation.

About Akash Network (AKT)

Akash is a decentralized cloud computing market. It is a decentralized cloud (decloud) designed for defi, which can release 85% of the underutilized cloud computing capacity in 8.4 million data centers. Akash enables anyone to buy and sell unused computing power. Akash network is a fully autonomous rights and interests proof blockchain developed on Cosmos hub. It uses the native functional token Akash token (Akt) as the main means to govern and protect the blockchain, and provides a default mechanism to store and exchange value. Akt will serve as the reserve currency in Akash's multi currency and Multi Chain ecosystem, and ensure the economic security of the platform's public blockchain through pledge. We are implementing the economic model of Akash pass in stages. In order to properly compensate the suppliers on the network, we will first stabilize the pledge set so as to establish the economic value of Akt when the main network 1 is released. After the initial stage of network guidance is completed, we will start to study the Akash economic model to encourage suppliers to provide lower prices and encourage Pledgors to participate in the network for a long time.

Use Cases and Features

Akash Network is a decentralized cloud-computing network that connects demand for computing power with providers. AKT is used for staking to help secure the network, participating in on-chain governance, and paying Gas fees for on-chain transactions. Network deployments use ACT as computing credits: users pay resource fees with ACT after obtaining it, while providers deliver computing resources and complete settlement.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

AKT is the network’s native asset. Under the Burn-Mint Equilibrium (BME) mechanism, users can burn AKT to mint non-transferable, USD-pegged computing credits called ACT; when computing is settled, the used ACT is burned and AKT is minted to providers at the price at that time. AKT supply therefore changes through computing top-ups, use, and settlement.
