Why Did Aevo (AEVO) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

AEVO’s short-term fluctuations may be amplified by a shallow order book. At 17:00 UTC on 2026-11-01, the one-hour candle recorded a volume of just 732.3 units and traded within a very narrow range. The bid-to-ask depth ratio across the top five levels was 2.09 at that time, but large orders were present on both sides, making the relatively thin book susceptible to individual orders. The largest bid was at $0.01991 and the largest ask at $0.02027, with the price between them and sell orders more concentrated overhead. These orders can change and do not by themselves establish the subsequent direction. The 15-minute chart showed an oversold RSI and bearish moving averages; the higher ADX reflected trend strength on that timeframe. However, indicators on the one-hour, four-hour, and daily charts were broadly neutral, insufficient on their own to indicate a trend reversal. Information about leveraged liquidations did not specify their size or direction for AEVO, so it cannot confirm actual selling pressure from liquidations.

About Aevo (AEVO)

Aevo is a decentralized derivatives exchange focused on options and perpetual trading. The DEX runs on Aevo L2, an Ethereum roll-up based on the OP Stack.

Use Cases and Features

AEVO is the governance token of the Aevo DAO. Holders can express governance preferences regarding areas including Aevo's options and perpetuals exchange, OTC trading, structured products, and Aevo L2. Derivatives trading on Aevo uses a margin mechanism; trading positions must meet maintenance-margin requirements or may enter liquidation.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

A total of 1 billion AEVO were minted in a single issuance at the project launch. It arose from the restructuring of Ribbon Finance into Aevo: former RBN holders could migrate to AEVO at a 1:1 ratio; the existing allocation arrangements for investors, the team, and the treasury continued under that restructuring plan.
