Why Did Acurast (ACU) Rise in the Last 24 Hours?

Descriptions of Acurast’s oracle and multichain data infrastructure provide project background but contain no specific partnership or integration event that would independently serve as a short-term catalyst. The order-book snapshot at 09:00 on 2026-10-25 showed about 645 ACU in bids and 1,584 ACU in asks across the top five levels. The ask wall, at about 899 ACU, was larger than the bid wall of about 279 ACU, indicating more concentrated sell orders at that time. With very low trading volume and a shallow book, even small trades could move the price between orders, without establishing a sustained trend. Technical signals were mixed: trend strength was weak on the 15-minute and 1-hour timeframes, while the 4-hour indicators leaned bullish. The daily RSI was oversold, ADX was 0, and MACD showed no crossover on any timeframe, leaving directional confirmation limited. The imbalance therefore describes the book at that snapshot, not subsequent price direction.

About Acurast (ACU)

Acurast is the first decentralized verifiable compute network powered by phones. Acurast is redefining compute by utilizing billions of smartphones – no data centers required. This verifiable, scalable, and confidential compute network enables users to run secure applications on decentralized infrastructure at scale—without compromising speed or privacy. Acurast has already onboarded 168,500+ phones worldwide on its incentivized testnet making it the most decentralized verifiable compute network available today. This impressive amount of compute already powers mission critical workloads with high-security and AI requirements. This isn’t just another DePIN protocol —it’s a game-changer that’s redefining how the world computes.

Use Cases and Features

ACU is the native utility token of the Acurast decentralized computing network. Developers use ACU to pay fees when deploying compute tasks and performing on-chain operations; compute providers, delegators, and validators can receive corresponding incentives by participating in the network. Holders can also participate in on-chain governance and vote on treasury funds and protocol development proposals. ACU is a native asset on the Acurast mainnet; when transferring across chains, the network and corresponding instance should be verified.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

ACU has an initial supply of 1 billion tokens. The protocol sets fixed annual inflation of 5% to continually incentivize network participation: 70% is allocated to the staked compute pool, 10% to the compute pool, 15% to the on-chain treasury, and 5% to block producers. The genesis allocation also covers community incentives, a community treasury, operational funding, liquidity, the team and advisors, and early supporters.
