The U.S. House of Representatives passes the Blockchain Deployment Act to promote technology development and adoption.

On June 27, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill directing the Department of Commerce to promote "Blockchain technology."

The bill titled "Deploying American Blockchains Act" requires the Department of Commerce:

1. Formulate policies to enhance the competitiveness of the United States;

2. Coordinate the adoption of Blockchain technology by various institutions;

3. Publish relevant guidelines;

4. Support the development of open-source infrastructure.
