I wouldn't overthink the crypto market right now

Altcoins have been in such a prolonged bear market for one main reason: interest rates

Altcoins had never seen a high rates environment before this and besides a few out-performers: they did not perform well compared to BTC

However...

IMO rates have a *long* way to go yet on the downside too, it is inevitable

Cheaper money --> more risk taking further down the risk curve

Plus, we're in the last year of the 4 year BTC cycle, which is usually the most explosive year (where altcoins outperform). Dependent on how quickly CB's cut rates further across the board this year.... could get a prolonged cycle too

Don't overthink this, we will sell our bags significantly higher than they are now, don't fuck it up
