Interpol has arrested over 1,200 suspects across multiple countries in Africa and seized over 100 million dollars in Crypto Assets.

Golden Finance reported that on August 22, the International Criminal Police Organization announced that authorities across Africa arrested more than 1,200 suspects in a large-scale cybercrime operation, confiscated nearly 100 million USD, and dismantled online fraud networks and illegal crypto mining activities. At the same time, investigators discovered 11,432 malicious infrastructures related to ransomware, business email compromise schemes, and online investment fraud.
