Brian Armstrong: Bitcoin may become the new global reserve currency amid the debt crisis in the United States.
Gate News bot news, Brian Armstrong warned that if the U.S. Congress does not swiftly take action to address the $37 trillion debt issue, Bitcoin could "take over" and become the next global reserve currency.
Armstrong wrote on social media on Tuesday: "I love Bitcoin, but a strong America is also crucial to the world. We need to take control of our financial situation."
As Armstrong expressed concerns over the debt crisis, House Republicans passed the Trump-backed "Big Beautiful Bill" in May, which extended tax cuts, increased military spending, and cut budgets for Medicaid, food assistance, and clean energy.
