What Is the Funding Rate? Why Can Perpetual Contracts Incur Ongoing Holding Costs Even When Prices Barely Move?
In cryptocurrency trading, many people focus only on price movements after opening a position and overlook the funding rate. For perpetual contract traders, even if prices move sideways for an extended period, holding a position may still generate additional costs or returns as long as the funding rate is nonzero.
First, what is the funding rate?
The funding rate is a mechanism through which longs and shorts in perpetual contracts make periodic payments to help keep contract prices c

I came across Arthur Hayes’ new article again tonight
The title is just five words: D is for Dilution
His numbers are pretty sobering
SpaceX SPCX could face about 50% dilution by June 2027
About 8.6 billion shares are set to unlock
Anthropic faces an even steeper hit
Early investors could face about 83% dilution by then
OpenAI’s IPO is slated for 2027
His reasoning is
Equity dilution → AI stocks come under pressure → banks slow balance sheet expansion → dollar liquidity tightens → short-term headwind for BTC
His own funds will keep waiting on the sidelines
Until liquidity conditions ease again

Why does the blockchain show the transaction as successful, but the assets still haven't arrived?
Because a successful on-chain transaction doesn't mean the platform has finished crediting the funds.
If this happens, check these 5 things first:
🔹 Does the transaction hash show success?
🔹 Is the receiving address correct?
🔹 Does the transfer network match?
🔹 Does the token type match?
🔹 Is the platform still confirming or processing the deposit?
If it involves a cross-chain transfer, also check the processing status on the destination chain.
Most importantly: don't make another transfer in

ETH at $2,417—are you chasing it?
ETH surged from 2300 to 2417, $200 million in shorts just got liquidated, and ETFs have just turned from outflows to inflows—but the 50-day moving average is still looming overhead. Is this a reversal, or a bull trap?
Yesterday you were calling ETH garbage at 2300; today, watching it surge to 2417, your fingers are itching to buy.
Last week you saw $1.6 billion in ETF outflows and sold at a loss; today you see $53 million in inflows and want to chase.
Retail traders have a memory span of just 7 seconds; the whales' scythe is always waiting for you to get itchy

Bitcoin at a Critical Turning Point: Is a Deeper Correction Coming?
BTC's rejection around $81K has put the market back under pressure. Bulls need to reclaim this zone, otherwise another downside move could unfold.
The bearish roadmap currently being discussed:
- $80K – First downside target
- $75K – Next support zone
- $65K – Potential major bottom
However, the bigger picture remains interesting. If Bitcoin finds a strong bottom near $65K and builds a solid recovery, the long-term bullish target could be $160K.
My focus is on confirmation, not predictions. Watch BTC's reaction at each support

ADP delivered an upside surprise first: U.S. private-sector employment increased by 86,000 in October, beating the Reuters survey forecast of just 69,000, while September was also revised up to 86,000. #10月非农数据聚焦
Tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. (Beijing time, November 6), the U.S. Labor Department will release the official October nonfarm payrolls report. The market expects about 65,000 jobs added, the unemployment rate to hold steady at 4.2%, and hourly earnings to rise 0.3% month over month. September nonfarm payrolls came in at just 29,000, and July and August were revised down by a combined 60,000,

What Is a Moving Average System? Why Can Moving Averages of Different Periods Help Us Observe Trends Yet Also Produce Lagging Signals?
In cryptocurrency trading, prices fluctuate every day, and short-term rises and falls can easily cloud judgment. Moving averages calculate the average price over a given period, helping traders observe market direction. However, because moving averages are based on historical prices, they are better suited to helping identify trends than to accurately predicting the future.
First, what is a moving average system?
A moving average (MA) is a curve formed by avera

$SNXX A 21.7% plunge in 24 hours, nearly cut in half; it's now at $5.16. It fell straight from $6.69 to $4.93 intraday, with $467 million in trading volume—this isn't a pullback; capital is rushing for the exits.
First, let's read the chart: a high-volume drop with no rebound structure. $4.93 is the only short-term support, and the $5 round-number level has turned into resistance. The 24-hour range is over 35%, typical of a liquidity-driven selloff, not a shakeout—a shakeout wouldn't come with $467 million in selling volume. On-chain data shows no sign of support wallets stepping in to absorb

What Is the Long-Short Ratio? Why Doesn’t a Majority of Traders Being Long Mean the Market Will Definitely Rise?
In crypto trading, many people see the long-short ratio rise and assume bullish sentiment is strengthening, then choose to chase long positions. But market sentiment and actual price movements do not always align. The long-short ratio can help us understand traders’ positioning bias, but it cannot directly determine how the market will move next.
First, what is the long-short ratio?
The long-short ratio measures the relative proportion of longs to shorts in a given market. However,

For much of 2026, many miners’ cost to mine one bitcoin was higher than its selling price
Listed mining companies’ all-in cost per bitcoin in Q2 (CoinShares data)
ABTC: $76,529
Bitdeer: $89,737
Riot: $113,499
HIVE: $116,739
CleanSpark: $135,691
IREN: $141,593
Bitcoin price at the time: $86,376
All-in costs were still higher than the market price for most companies. But their cash costs were lower (about $44,000–$75,000), so they could keep operating
Cash costs: electricity, facilities, labor
All-in costs: cash costs + equipment depreciation, corporate expenses, debt, etc.

The post-election messaging from Democrats is clear: an aggressive crackdown on AI capital expenditures and development is on the horizon.
As an investor, the ultimate question isn't just "what gets regulated"; it’s "where does that capital flow instead?"
If big tech and speculative AI capital face regulatory headwinds, liquidity needs a new home. Looking at the Total Crypto Market Capitalization Power Law model, crypto is sitting right near its historical support baseline, severely undervalued compared to its long-term adoption curve.
In hindsight, a crackdown on AI might be the exact catalys

The same day Trump lost both houses of Congress, California was already going poly?
In West Hollywood, near Los Angeles, the City Council unanimously passed a new rule: groups of three, four, or even more people can register as “partners” with the city, as long as they’re consenting and not related by blood.
They don’t even have to be local residents—people from elsewhere can go register, too. The lawyer behind the effort says this is just the first step.
The Democrats have only just won. I wonder what comes next?🤡

Beyond Proof of Reserves, Gate has introduced PoSEC, a new Proof of Security framework focused on how user assets are stored and protected. By disclosing the distribution of assets across cold storage and hot wallets, users can directly understand Gate’s storage structure and risk coverage under extreme scenarios. Gate’s latest cold storage coverage ratio stands at 104.58%, meaning cold-storage assets alone are sufficient to cover all user assets. PoR verifies whether reserves are sufficient, while PoSEC shows how assets are stored and how risks are covered — together forming a more complete asset security framework.
