When trading, entering the fund password is usually the last step. If you forget your fund password, you can reset it by following the instructions below.
How to reset fund password
On website:
Log in to your account. Move your
cursor on the profile icon on top right and go to "Security Settings". Scroll down to
"Password Management" - "Fund password" and click on "Change" on the right.
Input information as required and modify your fund password; If you forgot your old fund password, please click "Forgot password" to reset the fund
password. You can choose to either "Reset
by mail" or "Reset by phone number". Just follow the instructions and complete the
process.
On app:
Open Gate mobile app and log in to your account. Click on the top-left profile icon then ”Profile and Settings“and go to "Security Center" - "Fund password".
Note:
Your account can not engage in withdrawal or fiat currency trading within 24 hours after a fund password reset.
How to set the input frequency of fund password
Step-by-step instructions on setting the input frequency of fund password on Web:
Log in to your account on Gate
website. Place your cursor on the top-right profile icon and go to "Security Settings".
Scroll down to "Password
Management" - "Fund password". Click on the tiny triangle symbol right next to "Change"
to set the frequency of password resets - one hour, every time, never.
Step-by-step instructions on setting the input frequency of fund password on App:
Log into your Gate account on App. Click on the user icon on the top-left corner then ”Profile and Settings“, and click on "Security" > "Fund Password".
On the "Fund Password" page, click "Input Frequency" to select the frequency (1 hour/Always/Never) you prefer.
