Anthropic integrated an AI agent mode into Claude that allows controlling a computer and performing application tasks. It is capable of launching applications, working with documents, and automating routine processes. For example, exporting a file and sending it to an address. At the same time, the developer noted that the function does not yet work quite correctly with text and code. As for security, Claude requests access to new programs and describes its steps in advance. The solution is available in Claude Cowork and Claude Code on macOS.
