PANews reported on June 7 that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission officially announced that it has noticed that there has been an upward trend in the recent phishing SMS scams sent by fake licensed corporations, and the fraudsters have deceived customers into clicking on the hyperlinks contained in mobile text messages and redirected them to websites similar to the official websites of licensed corporations, intercepting customers' usernames, login passwords and authentication information, so as to enter customers' accounts with licensed corporations for unauthorized transactions, so they issued guidelines to licensed corporations to prevent unauthorized transactions in customer accounts. If you have disclosed your account login information to an unverified website, or if you find that your account has been subject to unauthorised transactions, you should contact your licensed corporation as soon as possible and report the case to the Police.
