On April 19, Justin Sun shared on XBreakthrough about being personally attacked by David Geffen. Despite being defamed, Justin Sun asserted that the sculpture "Le Nez" is his legal property and he believes he will get it back. Previously, Sun had sued billionaire collector David Geffen, demanding the return of this sculpture by Alberto Giacometti, claiming that a fraudulent art advisor sold the piece to Geffen through forged signatures and a fake lawyer.

Justin Sun, who bought "Le Nez" at Sotheby’s for $78.4 million in 2021, accused his former advisor, Xiong Zihan Sydney, of planning to sell the artwork without his consent, forging documents, and even impersonating a lawyer via email to facilitate the transaction. Justin Sun now wants to retrieve his sculpture or receive significant compensation.

David Geffen's lawyer, Tibor L. Nagy, argued that this lawsuit is "absurd and baseless," implying that Sun simply regrets the agreement made. The complaint does not specify any relationship between Geffen and Xiong. Mr. Nagy emphasized that this transaction was carried out through an intermediary. "If after a year Justin Sun is unhappy with the agreement that the intermediary made for him, then there is no basis to complain about David Geffen," he said.
