encryption ecosystem native project

Recently, while listening to a tech blogger share their views on artificial intelligence companies, they shared the following point (in essence):

Whenever a new technology emerges, there are two types of companies: one is technology-enhanced, and the other is technology-disruptive.

Technology-enhanced enterprises use new technologies to transform their existing business models, improving efficiency and reducing costs. Although these enterprises often perform remarkably well for some time after the emergence of new technologies, their genetic makeup destined them to be burdened by cognitive inertia, making it unlikely for them to fundamentally create new models and new scenarios.

In contrast, disruptive technology companies are born in a new era. They do not have the inertia and burdens of the past, and often can create new models and new scenarios. Such companies are more likely to achieve disruptive growth in the future.

I particularly agree with this point.

The current US stock market is full of such typical cases.

Some old companies from the software era (such as Microsoft and Oracle) and companies from the internet era (such as META, Amazon, and Google) are actively laying out strategies in various subfields of AI, even investing heavily to seize various high grounds in the AI field. After these operations, they have also delivered impressive financial data, recording significant increases in their stock prices.

From the perspective of general investors, it seems that they have smoothly transitioned into the AI era, once again becoming one of the protagonists of the AI era, participating in leading the trends and developments of the future of AI.

On the contrary, some native AI companies that seem close to or purely original in my opinion (such as Nvidia, Tesla, OpenAI, Anthropic...) have, apart from Nvidia which has currently achieved its rightful status, either businesses that are still lingering or have not yet gone public.

Compared to their predecessors, their aura is obviously much inferior.

But I believe that in the near future, disruptive companies will continuously emerge among native AI enterprises, pushing the existing predecessors out of the top ten market capitalization rankings.

After seeing the situation in the field of artificial intelligence, I thought of the crypto ecosystem.

Since the beginning of this year, especially in recent months, the voices of the crypto ecosystem have been almost completely monopolized by players from traditional financial institutions on Wall Street.

They have brought enormous traffic to this ecosystem, as well as strong price support for Bitcoin and Ethereum. At the same time, they seem to have created such an illusion:

The future of the crypto ecosystem lies with them, and the trends of the crypto ecosystem are defined by them.

But in my opinion, they don't really resemble native enterprises of the crypto ecosystem; they are merely using crypto technology to expand their existing business landscape or to package their original business models and scenarios with crypto technology.

They do not have any innovation in their model; they are more like technology-enhanced enterprises in the crypto ecosystem.

They do not represent the future of the crypto ecosystem, nor can they create disruptive models and scenarios for the crypto ecosystem.

I believe that native enterprises in the crypto ecosystem are the true players that will disrupt our lives and business models.

But the reality is very awkward: In the trend of the crypto ecosystem over the past few years, whether it is the existing or newly emerging native enterprises, many are still struggling to explore. Even though some have already emerged, they still have less influence, scale, and voice than these recently entered "enhanced" players.

From this perspective, the current state of the crypto ecosystem is quite regrettable, and the situation of native enterprises is even more difficult than their peers in the AI track.

Compared to the noise and turmoil of these traditional institutions, I am more looking forward to native enterprises in the crypto ecosystem being able to occupy the mainstream voice of this ecosystem and influence its mainstream trends.
