According to a report from The Block on May 4th, following its legal defeat against Epic Games, Apple has been forced to make significant adjustments to its App Store policies. Under the new regulations, app developers can now guide users to use external payment methods, thereby circumventing the 27-30% Commission fees that Apple previously enforced. This move will significantly drop the operational costs for applications related to NFTs and Crypto Assets.

According to reports, Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the Northern California District Court has made a ruling favorable to Epic Games. Although Apple has stated it will appeal, it has now modified the App Store rules for the U.S. region. It is worth noting that this policy adjustment applies only to the U.S. market, while other regions will maintain the original restrictions.
