Why Did TRON (TRX) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

TRON faced short-term pressure from two risks. After the attack on 2026-10-29, the attacker converted part of the stolen USDT into about 475 million TRX. These tokens cannot be frozen, so potential selling may weigh on buyer demand. On 2026-11-01, TRX had fallen to $0.3097, below the roughly $0.33 level before the incident, but this does not establish that the incident alone drove subsequent moves. Justin Sun’s lawsuit accusing World Liberty Financial of concealing UAE ownership information added governance uncertainty. Proposal 108 optimizes smart-contract storage without changing supply or fees, making it technical support rather than a clear short-term catalyst. Order-book bids clustered at $0.3194 and sell pressure at $0.3217, indicating a narrow tug-of-war; RSI was neutral across timeframes, and the hourly trend lacked confirmation from longer timeframes.

About TRON (TRX)

In May 2022, Wavefield TRON announced the launch of USDD, a decentralized ultra-collateralized stablecoin, backed by the industry's central bank of cryptocurrencies, Wavefield Joint Reserve, and Wavefield TRON officially entered the era of decentralized stablecoins. In October of the same year, Dominica announced that Wavefield TRON was its officially designated national blockchain infrastructure, and Wavefield TRON thus became a large public chain that had entered into a partnership with a sovereign state to develop blockchain infrastructure.

Use Cases and Features

TRX is the native token of the TRON network and can be used for transfers and to pay network resource fees. After staking TRX, users can obtain bandwidth or energy, as well as TRON Power for voting for Super Representatives; TRX can also be used in decentralized applications and DeFi scenarios on the network as an asset related to liquidity, collateral, or pricing.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

TRX supply is jointly affected by the protocol’s issuance and burn mechanisms. The protocol creates new TRX through block-production and voting-related rewards; when an account’s bandwidth or energy is insufficient to cover the resources required for an operation, TRX may be burned to pay the corresponding fees, and burned tokens permanently leave circulation. Specific rewards and parameters may be adjusted through network governance.
