Why Did Stratis (STRAX) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?

From 2026-11-04 to 2026-11-05, STRAX’s order book was generally thin. The top-five-level bid-to-ask depth ratio was 1.37, showing no pronounced dominance by either side; a moderately sized order could visibly affect price, while low trading volume made movements more susceptible to market microstructure. Technical signals were mixed: the daily moving average was bearish with an ADX of 52.77, while the one-hour moving average was bullish but its ADX was 36.09. RSI was neutral across timeframes and MACD showed no crossover, leaving momentum without consistent confirmation. The order book and indicators therefore point to uneven directional signals in low liquidity, not a confirmed event-driven move.

About Stratis (STRAX)

Strax is the new currency after strat is replaced by 1:1. Stratis is a new platform for providing blockchain as a service (baas) solutions. Stratis allows anyone to create and manage blockchains in a few minutes, and customize users' own side chains. Small companies can experiment with blockchains, not just large companies such as JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.

Use Cases and Features

STRAX is the native token used by Stratis during the STRAX chain phase. It could be used to pay for platform services, as collateral for operating a masternode, and to obtain sidechain tokens for executing smart contracts. Stratis’s open-source StratisEVM project also provides implementations related to node and validator clients; participating in validation requires operating the relevant infrastructure independently and assuming network and asset risks.

Supply and Issuance Mechanism

The design for the STRAX chain phase was based on the original STRAT supply, with an additional 25 million STRAX created for the foundation; these tokens were planned to be used gradually over five years to support platform development. Stratis subsequently introduced an arrangement to swap STRAX for STRAT II. Its official terms stated a rate of 1 STRAX for 10 STRAT II, with the listed swap period ending on December 29, 2024.
