Why Did Quant (QNT) Fall in the Last 24 Hours?
The Clearing House (TCH), owned by 25 major banks and processing more than $2 trillion in daily clearings, selected Quant to advance the tokenization of bank deposits. Together with the Quant–Murex white paper on deploying programmable settlement in banks, this strengthens the institutional-adoption narrative, but does not mean broad implementation has already occurred. Technical conditions point to pressure: on 2026-11-05, the daily RSI was 48.6 and declining consecutively, the MACD histogram was negative, and price met resistance near $203.24; moving-average signals differed across shorter and intermediate timeframes. The November 4 rebound had volume below the 30-day average, so it lacked volume confirmation. In an order-book snapshot, a bid at $199.86 accounted for 83.6% of the top-five-level bid and ask depth, but total quantities on both sides were thin. This indicates concentrated bids that could provide brief support, not participant intent. Institutional adoption expectations and technical profit-taking pressure therefore coexist, and neither alone establishes the cause of the pullback.
