The primary reason is the imbalance between market supply and demand, with a large number of early coin holders selling for profit, while new entrants are few, leading to supply far exceeding demand. The project team has invested a lot in the early stages, and there are short-term cash-out behaviors. Technical shortcomings have also held it back, with poor mainnet performance and slow transaction processing, making it difficult to meet user needs, resulting in a crisis of trust. At the same time, stricter regulations and unclear policies have left investors worried and frustrated.

In the face of the decline of Pi coins, the project team continued to take action, actively optimized the node program, and also launched social networking applications in an attempt to improve the ecology. But these efforts do not appear to have fallen short of expectations, and prices remain depressed.

The future of Pi currency is full of uncertainties. If the project team accelerates technological innovation, expands application scenarios, and seeks regulatory recognition, it may regain vitality.
