Gilbert's Law, Confused Instructions Kill Efficiency, and Learn to Ask Questions When Talking to AI. Holden's Law, the flow of information determines the flow of money, and cognition determines wealth. Fergel's Law, not making unnecessary decisions, and strategically playing dead is an ability. The crocodile rule, give up in time, accept the loss, and don't leave anything to chance. The Matthew effect, the good is better, the bad is worse. Occam's razor, the simpler the better. The Hawthorne effect, the more people who watch, the greater the change in the people being seen. The theatrical effect, where one person breaks the rules, everyone else is in trouble. The bystander effect, where the responsibility for rescue is dispersed with the number of people present, and the more people who help, the more likely they are to receive help.
