Abstract generation in progress

Golden Finance reported that according to a new public opinion survey from the Public Affairs Research Center of the Associated Press, voters' views of Harris have improved slightly since July, when President Joe Biden had just withdrawn from the race. Now people's views of this Democratic presidential candidate are positive rather than negative. Former President Donald Trump's approval rating remains stable, despite the fact that this poll was conducted before the attempted assassination of the Republican candidate on Sunday (September 15) at a golf course in Florida. Currently, about half of the registered voters have a favorable view of Harris, while the proportion of those with a favorable view of Trump is 37%. The current support rates for the two candidates are similar to those in August. A poll in August 2024 found that 48% of the public had a favorable view of Harris, while 41% had a favorable view of Trump. The latest poll found that 88% of Democratic voters have a favorable view of Harris, while 77% of Republican voters have a positive view of Trump.
