Odaily Align Layer, Ethereum's decentralized Zk Proof verification layer powered by Eigen Layer, closed a $2.6 million foundation round led by Lemniscap, with Bankless Ventures, Paper Ventures, Sreeram Kannan, Brandon Kase, Daniel Lubarov and DCbuilder, co-invested by Chainyoda, Weikeng Chen, Sami BENYAKOUB (samnode), Peter Fittin (SizeChad) and Lucas Kozinski, with strategic investments from StarkWare and O(1) Labs.
Align Layer will use the proceeds from this funding round to expand its team and accelerate the launch of the alignment layer master grid (expected in the second quarter of 2024).
It is reported that the alignment layer aims to provide Ethereum with affordable zero-knowledge proof verification, enhancing scalability and interoperability. This layer integrates several zero-knowledge proof systems to reduce costs, increase speed, and drive blockchain technology innovation. (Chainwire)
