The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) recently dismissed an unfair labor practice charge against Wells Fargo, which accused the bank of firing five employees for promoting union efforts. The NLRB found insufficient evidence to prove a violation of the National Labor Relations Act regarding the displacement of members of the bank’s conduct management intake team, although Wells Fargo still faces at least one other pending ULP charge. Union representatives continue to accuse Wells Fargo of union busting, despite 16 ULP charges being dismissed or withdrawn in the past year.
