If I had to start from $10K and run it up to $1M in crypto… here’s exactly how I’d do it.
I’ve been in crypto nearly a decade. I’ve lost 98% of my portfolio before, but I’ve also built 7 figures this cycle and helped thousands of traders do the same.
If I woke up tomorrow with just $10K, this is the roadmap I’d follow to turn it into $1M (faster than I did the first time):
1️⃣ Foundation Phase ($10K → $50K)
- 20% BTC/ETH/SOL (swing trade this)
- 30% strong altcoins (hodl and swing trade)
- 30% memecoins (aggressively trade)
- 10% high risk (leverage or low caps: in and out)
2️⃣ Learning Phase ($50K → $150K)
- Master ONE strategy: eg. Spot trading + Simple TA
- Track every trade
- Take profits aggressively
- Cut weakness aggressively
- Join the right communities (learn from others)
3️⃣ Acceleration Phase ($150K → $400K)
- Introduce low leverage with more size
- Ride narratives early
- Sit more patiently in positions
- Take profits on memecoins, don’t marry them.
- Rotate profits into stablecoin yield or majors
- Invest in yourself / learning
4️⃣ Multiplication Phase ($400K → $750K)
- Futures & airdrops become your edge
- Farm narratives + rotate across chains
- Remember: ten consistent 20% trades beats one lucky 200% trade
5️⃣ Wealth Phase ($700K → $1M+)
- Systematic trading
- Focus on longer term strats
- Diversify outside of crypto
- Passive income
- Build sustainable income streams (staking, content, business)
⚠️ Mistakes I’d avoid this time:
- Revenge trading
- 50x leverage
- Shiny object syndrome
- If it's too good to be true fade it
- Ignoring security
- Believing not trading
- Liquidity in the wrong trade means you could be missing the best opportunity right now
The truth? This game isn’t about finding a magical 1000x trade. It’s about discipline, having a system and patience. That’s how I’d run $10K → $1M.
