The Whale account has surpassed SharpLink, which is the second company holding the most ETH, with these purchases. The company led by Joseph Lubin holds approximately 797,000 ETH worth about 3.5 billion dollars.
At the top is the Bitmine company with more than 1.8 million ETH.
It had made a splash with a move worth 2.5 billion dollars.
A whale with 11 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin sold 2.5 billion dollars worth of BTC on August 21 and took a leveraged long ETH position worth 577 million dollars with 2.2 billion dollars worth of spot ETH. This account had also closed its leveraged trades last week with a profit of 30 million dollars and had made a purchase of 108 million dollars worth of Ether.
