[Coin World] The Ethereum Foundation has released Protocol Update 003, improving user experience and outlining a multi-track roadmap that makes Ethereum feel "like a chain again". It has also released a protocol update that prioritizes faster confirmations, trust-minimized cross-chain interoperability, and new user experience and privacy tools on the second-largest blockchain for crypto assets. The plan introduces three workflows, named "Initialization", "Acceleration", and "Completion", and announces deliverables with target dates extending to 2026. Under the Initialization process, Ethereum Foundation (EF) engineers and ecosystem teams are launching an Open Intents Framework that allows users to express desired outcomes. Additionally, developers have proposed an Ethereum interoperability layer aimed at facilitating trustless transactions across Layer 2 networks and have established a set of standards aimed at reducing friction.
