Recently, the Crypto Assets market has once again become the focus. Although some analysts optimistically predict that the Bitcoin price will reach a high of $200,000 before 2026, the majority of investors on the Polymarket platform hold a different view. They believe that the Bitcoin price is likely to fall below $100,000 by the end of this year.

As of this Wednesday, among the traders on Polymarket betting on whether Bitcoin will fall below $100,000 this year, 61% believe that this situation is very likely to occur. This percentage has slightly decreased from 72% on Monday, but still indicates concerns in the market about the short-term price trend of Bitcoin.

Analyst Min Jung from Presto Research stated that so far, the massive sell-off by large holders (commonly known as "whales") and long-term investors has been absorbed by the demand from corporate bonds and institutional investors. However, if these large holders start to close positions more aggressively, the key will be whether there are enough new investors to digest this supply. If demand cannot keep up with the pace of supply, the likelihood of Bitcoin's price falling below $100,000 will increase.

David Hernandez, a cryptocurrency investment expert from 21Shares, interprets the current market conditions from a different perspective. He believes that the sell-off of Bitcoin is actually a signal of the market maturing. While it may shake investor confidence in the short term, in the long run, this price adjustment could lead to a healthier market. By redistributing Bitcoin from concentrated large holders to a broader base of retail and institutional investors, it could ultimately strengthen the long-term foundation of Bitcoin.

Although the market has differing opinions on the short-term trend of Bitcoin, this controversy itself reflects the activity and participation in the crypto assets market. Regardless of the final outcome, this discussion about Bitcoin's price will undoubtedly continue to attract the attention of global investors.
