Recently, there have been some discussions in the market about Ethereum (ETH) possibly being dragged down by Bitcoin (BTC). In this regard, I would like to share some personal insights.

Firstly, although ETH and BTC are both cryptocurrencies, their development trajectories and application scenarios are quite different. As a smart contract platform, the ecosystem and technical foundation of ETH are fundamentally different from BTC, so there is no need to overly worry about the impact of BTC's trends on ETH.

Secondly, the fact that ETH has broken through the $4000 mark is not a coincidence. Looking back at last year's market, ETH has repeatedly surpassed this threshold, indicating that the market's recognition of ETH is steadily increasing. This repeated breakthrough has also, to some extent, cultivated investor confidence.

It is worth noting that although the exchange rate has shown an upward trend recently, which is a positive signal for the overall cryptocurrency market, we still need to remain cautious. Personally, I believe that BTC may experience a significant pullback in the second half of the year. However, this does not mean that ETH will necessarily fall significantly as well.

In the long run, I remain optimistic about the prospects of Ether. Back in early February of this year, when I started recommending ETH, I faced a lot of skepticism and criticism. But to date, the performance of ETH has proven its potential.

Although the market may experience fluctuations in the short term, I firmly believe that by 2025, we will witness the most brilliant moments of Ether. I have emphasized this view many times and still hold it. The future development of Ether should not overly rely on the trends of BTC, but rather focus on its own technological advancements and the improvement of its ecosystem.

Overall, investors should focus more on the development of ETH itself, rather than getting too caught up in its relationship with BTC. ETH has its unique value proposition and development path, which is the key factor determining its future.
