Today, Ethereum celebrates its tenth anniversary. As a loyal supporter of Bitcoin, I cannot help but admire the development trajectory of Ethereum.

I remember vividly the scene from eight years ago when I first encountered Ethereum, as if it were just yesterday. At that time, I registered my first Ethereum wallet. Interestingly, this wallet still exists today, and some of the scattered Ether that I deposited back then has now appreciated tenfold.

I initially used an ancient wallet called My Ether Wallet, rather than the now widely known MetaMask. Each time I used it, I had to upload a keystore file and enter a password to unlock it, which seems quite cumbersome by today's standards.

The reason for deciding to create an Ethereum wallet at that time was my strong interest in the novel concept of CryptoKitties. During that period, the breeding mechanics and rare features of CryptoKitties attracted the attention of many cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

Although I am a strong supporter of Bitcoin, I do not consider myself a fanatic 'BTC loyalist'. On the contrary, I maintain an open and attentive attitude towards other blockchain projects such as Ethereum, BNB, and Solana.

Looking back on the journey of these eight years, one can't help but feel a surge of emotions. From a biological perspective, human cells undergo a major renewal every seven years. This means that the 'me' at this moment is no longer the 'me' from eight years ago. However, Ethereum has always maintained its essence and original intention.

Sitting in the same position as eight years ago, continuing to explore the development of Ethereum, this wonderful sense of time-space overlap made me deeply appreciate the lasting charm of blockchain technology. The ten-year journey of Ethereum has not only witnessed the rapid evolution of the crypto world but also reflected the infinite possibilities of this industry.

As a witness and participant, I look forward to seeing Ethereum continue to lead innovation in the future and contribute more value to the decentralized world.
