Recently, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has shown a new change in its regulatory attitude towards the crypto assets market. The SEC is considering allowing BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust to introduce an Ether staking mechanism and is seeking public opinion on this matter. This proposal was submitted by Nasdaq, following similar applications from several other companies.

This move is interpreted by the industry as a possible shift towards a more open attitude from regulators. Since the beginning of this year, the SEC has begun reviewing multiple Crypto Assets ETF proposals. It is worth noting that while the SEC previously approved spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, it explicitly excluded the staking feature.

At the same time, the SEC also announced that it would postpone the decision on Grayscale's Litecoin ETF application until October 10. In addition, the SEC passed a new rule allowing ETFs to conduct 'physical subscriptions and redemptions', which is seen as a positive signal for the development of Crypto Assets ETFs.

These measures reflect the SEC's cautious attitude towards Crypto Assets regulation, while also demonstrating its response to market demand. As the Crypto Assets market continues to evolve, the decisions made by regulatory bodies will have a significant impact on the future of the industry. Investors and market participants should closely monitor these regulatory trends to adjust their strategies in a timely manner.

There is a 2.7% risk-free interest rate spread in stake arbitrage. Waiting for market response.
