The Federal Reserve is back in the spotlight: Governor Waller hinted at a possible rate cut in the second half of 2025 if tariffs fall. But what does this mean for the crypto market as early as June? Let's find out! 🚀
⚡Rate reduction: what does it give?
A reduction in the Fed's rate typically means cheaper loans and an increase in liquidity. Investors are more willing to invest in risky assets such as cryptocurrencies, as the yield on "risk-free" assets like government bonds declines. In 2020, following similar measures, Bitcoin rose from $10K to $60K in a year. Could history repeat itself?
⚡June 2025: should we expect movements?
Today, May 24, 2025, the market is already buzzing with news. If the Fed indeed hints at a rate cut in June, it could be a catalyst for capital inflow into crypto. Bitcoin and Ethereum, as market leaders, are likely to be the first to feel the surge of optimism. But there is a caveat: the market often "buys the rumor and sells the news." If expectations are not met, we can expect a correction.
