German think tank IFO: The German economy is emerging from recession

According to Jin10 data on April 24, a survey released on Thursday showed that German business confidence unexpectedly rose in April, although expectations are slightly pessimistic due to increasing uncertainty among businesses. Klaus Wohlrabe, head of surveys at the IFO Economic Institute in Germany, stated: "The German economy is emerging from recession." The institute reported that the business climate index rose from 86.7 in March to 86.9 in April, higher than analysts' estimates in a Reuters survey.
