The US-listed company The9 Limited announced that it has obtained a strategic investment of 8 million dollars.
According to ChainCatcher news, The9 Limited, a Nasdaq-listed company, has signed a private sale protocol with cryptocurrency investment funds Elune Capital, Fine Vision Fund, and Bripheno Pte. Ltd. to secure a strategic investment of 8 million dollars. The9 will establish a new company to operate the GameFi platform and will seek cooperation with global Crypto Assets foundations to issue tokens as the platform's official Crypto Assets. In addition, The9 plans to issue 10% of its shares over the next three years to support the market operation and trading of the GameFi tokens. The9's Chief Financial Officer George Lai stated that this cooperation is an important milestone for the company to enter the global gaming finance industry.
