Two Ether treasury companies Bitmine and SharpLink announced new acquisitions.
The two companies that have been the biggest factors in the rise of the Ether price from the level of 1500 dollars to over 4900, Bitmine and SharpLink, announced new purchases as of today. Bitmine bought 153,075 ETH last week, while SharpLink acquired 39,008 ETH.
Bit paid 668 million for Bitmine purchases, while SharpLink paid 177 million dollars.
After the purchases, the amount of ETH held by Bitmine company exceeded a total of 1 million 866 thousand. This figure amounted to 837 thousand 230 for SharpLink.
In addition to Ether assets, Bitmine company also holds 192 Bitcoins along with 635 million dollars in cash. The total value of the company's assets has risen to 8.98 billion dollars.
SharpLink has $71.6 million in cash on hand. This amount will be used to purchase Ether.
Ether is trading at 4280 dollars at the time this news was written.
