Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase, one of the leading banks in the U.S., made noteworthy remarks during his speech at the first Reagan National Economic Forum held in California.

Dimon stated that the United States should stockpile weapons, ammunition, and drones instead of Bitcoin.

In his speech, Dimon stated, "We must stockpile weapons, ammunition, fighter jets, drones, and rare earth elements. We all know we need to do this, and there is no debate about it." Dimon's remarks were interpreted as an indirect reference to the presidential decree signed by Trump in March, which envisaged the creation of a Bitcoin reserve in the U.S.

JPMorgan, known for its negative stance towards cryptocurrencies, has started to offer cryptocurrency trading services to its clients, but the company's cautious approach to this area continues. According to experts, this attitude stems from the contradiction between concepts such as sovereign currency and financial democratization and the traditional banking sector's understanding of "entrust your money to us."

In the later sections of his speech, Dimon argued that the main threat to the US comes not from outside but from within. "My main concern is us, can we rebuild our ethical standards, our values, our governance skills, and our comprehensive power?" he said.
