And Transaction Complete: Trump's Company Announced the Bitcoin Move!

The social media platform Truth Social, the streaming platform Truth+, and the financial technology brand Truth.Fi, owned by Trump Media and Technology Group Corp, announced in an official press release that it has completed its previously announced private equity investment process with approximately 50 institutional investors.

Of the total revenue of approximately $2.44 billion generated from these investments, $2.32 billion will be used for Trump Media to establish a Bitcoin treasury and for general corporate expenses and working capital.

With this development, Trump Media will have one of the largest Bitcoin treasuries among companies listed on the US stock exchange, and the company's Bitcoin strategy will be among the most comprehensive treasury policies.

Trump Media CEO and Chairman of the Board Devin Nunes stated in a press release:

"At Trump Media, we are focused on acquiring high-potential assets. This agreement will provide us with the financial space to freely implement our strategies. The company will have more than $3 billion in liquid assets, and our shareholders will have the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin indirectly. This move is a significant step toward realizing our long-sought vision of rapid growth."

As a result of the investment, Bitcoin will also be included in Trump Media's balance sheet, along with the current $759 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments as of the first quarter of 2025.
