Using your mouth to fluff fur is becoming a new Mining model.

Author: sleepy.mid

Recently, Twitter has been flooded with posts, and I've seen many friends get a significant airdrop by "talking up" Huma. In today's article, I will attempt to break down what is known as InfoFi, to see what has created it and what it has changed.

With the birth and popularity of Kaito, we can now see a paradigm shift occurring within the Web3 world.

In this transfer, the "mouth stroke" airdrop has shifted from a fringe behavior to a mainstream participation channel; "information output" has transformed from content creation into a key element of industry identity building; and "narrative ability" is taking over the dominant position of "usage behavior" in the airdrop system.

All of this points to the same trend: the structure of attention is being reconstructed, information behavior is being financialized, and consensus is becoming a resource that can be manufactured.

1|The death of interactive airdrops begins with its fantasy.

The airdrop logic of the older generation is as follows:

"We will create a product, design the interactions, and distribute tokens to early users. This can help cultivate their usage habits and foster user retention."

This logic established seemingly reasonable positive expectations between 2018 and 2022, but today it has collapsed:

A large number of interactive addresses are script behaviors and do not reflect the true intentions of users.

The project launches with an airdrop, the airdrop is immediately available, and users can make short-term profits and exit.

The so-called "incentive retention" has become empty talk, and the data for the vast majority of projects has plummeted after airdrops.

You expect to tame today's users with future expectations, but users don't believe in that future at all.

More crucially, interactive behavior is no longer scarce and can no longer reflect the true intentions of users.

The conclusion is obvious: airdrops have never been a panacea for activating products; they are merely a traffic detonator, suitable for making the market aware of you, but not for keeping users.

Thus, the airdrop logic began to shift, evolving from "Behavioral Finance" to "Information Finance":

It's not about what you did, but what you said, who saw it, and how much social diffusion it brought.

This is a shift in the value perception model and a re-understanding of the core driving factors of the crypto world:

In a Web3 world where consensus precedes products and narratives precede usage, information is the raw asset.

2|InfoFi's Triple Logic Foundation

If we consider InfoFi as a mechanism design, its logical foundation comes from three dimensions:

  1. Reconstruction of value creation

Traditional airdrops measure "early value" based on interactive behavior. However, InfoFi believes that the information behavior itself is the starting point for consensus generation.

Every tweet, every meme, every output of opinion is an entry into the consensus, creating the market memory of the future.

  1. Binding Mechanism of Personality and Identity

On-chain addresses are anonymous, but social behavior is not. InfoFi binds off-chain identity, expression methods, and social reach capabilities to on-chain addresses, thus forming a weight system of influence with personality traits.

This increases the "accuracy rate" of airdrop distribution, breaking away from the old mindset of "interaction equals users."

  1. The deep coupling of narrative timing and capital release

The project launch node is highly coupled with the peak of social discourse, which is equivalent to leveraging airdrops to stimulate early enthusiasm, igniting the attention dividend window and forming a liquidity pivot.

In this structure, "mouth stroking" is no longer a cheap behavior but a deep alignment with the logic of crypto consensus.

Let's put it more plainly:

Mouthstroke is the native mining mode of the information age.

In PoS, capital is a form of collateral;

In InfoFi, influence is a type of "collateral."

In the "Zui Lu" logic, what you are staking is your identity, your opinions, and the social risks of voicing support for a project. This is fundamentally no different from traditional methods of participation; in fact, you may have to bear greater costs in the early stages (you need to understand the project, produce content, and take on the risks of expression). It is a complete value creation pathway.

When on-chain behavior becomes mechanized and scripted, the mouth becomes the only input that still carries a human touch. This is also why oral participants can gain an advantage in the InfoFi mechanism, as they provide social trust that cannot be forged by contracts.

Of course, there has been a large number of phenomena today involving AI rewriting for airdrops, copying content, disguising opinions, and mass-generating content farms. This is an issue that the InfoFi project team needs to address through model optimization and identity recognition mechanisms.

But just like in the Web2 SEO era, even "site farms" and "content farms" serve a certain distribution goal; they do not disrupt the system but rather push the system to evolve further.

3|InfoFi is a positive response from Web3 to attention finance.

Let’s compare social media with another infrastructure that directly reaches users.

The wallet is the cold start layer, and social is the hot start layer.

Wallet represents "operational rights", social represents "voice rights".

In this information-first, asset-lagging structure, all early users are forced to become "content distribution nodes."

You are not promoting a project; you are creating a "consensus air layer" for the project's token release. This air layer is not void; it is a form of informational friction that provides legitimacy for capital flow.

InfoFi is building a mechanism:

Whoever can create a larger social friction surface for me, I will give more chips to.

In this structure, "Zui Lu" is not a way to take advantage of the situation, but rather a professional entry point into the social consensus mechanism.

This is a sign that information participates in production relations as a financial asset.

The rapid development of mouth-licking airdrops is a manifestation of the narrative itself becoming a product.

The project constructs the narrative, users participate in the narrative, the platform recognizes the narrative, and the tokens carry the narrative.

In this on-chain society, narratives go live earlier than products, and content flows faster than code.

InfoFi is the orthodox response to the financialization of attention in the crypto world, and mouth stroking is one of the natural ways to participate, rather than being in a gray area.

If the use is proof of participation, then the expression of information is proof of trust. If liquidity is the lifeblood of the market, then social voice is the source of that lifeblood.

4 | Next Step Development: Super-Individual Consensus Engineering, Information Becomes Organizational Asset

If you pay enough attention and delve deep enough, you will find that it has already faintly revealed the embryonic form of a certain industrial logic. A group of KOLs are no longer working alone, but are participating in the narrative in an organized manner.

The future narrative of airdrops is no longer a random emergence of the crowd, but rather like filming a play, with clear thematic design, rhythm arrangement, and division of roles:

The project's cold start phase is preheating.

The period before the IDO is a buildup to the climax;

Launch day creates high-energy highlights;

After the airdrop lands, organize a collective review and output a successful narrative template.

We will see a small communication DAO composed of "content creators + topic organizers + social amplifiers + visual aesthetic planners" launching information campaigns in a collaborative manner.

The most radical deduction is that the information itself will assume a part of the liquidity issuance function.

The past Liquidity Bootstrapping emphasized capital collaboration; in the future, Info Bootstrapping may emerge, determining the distribution ratio, price benchmarks, and even circulation windows of initial tokens through the depth of narrative dissemination and breadth of coverage.

First create the narrative, the coin is just a prop for the climax of the plot. Information is no longer a medium to assets, but rather a part of the asset creation process itself.

We are entering an era where narratives are structured and manufactured, in which:

Whoever can organize more people's expressions will have a stronger ability to generate consensus; Whoever can create a reproducible narrative rhythm will be able to cast a real "information asset".

The mouth is no longer just a mining machine; it is becoming an industrial belt.
